Perfect ballpark treat! I stumbled on this popsicle stand at Nats Park and it hit the spot. Super refreshing on a hot game day! flavors are fun, fruity, and not too sweet. Try the mango or watermelon if they have it! The mango with chamoy and Tajín is a total game-changer, sweet, spicy, and tangy in all the right ways. Friendly service and fast, too. Definitely coming back next game.
I have enjoyed Maracas Pops for years at my local farmers market for their refreshing and tasty ice pops in a great range of flavors. Tamarind, mango and strawberry are the ones I go back to again and again! This past summer I hired Julia and her team to cater my daughter's graduation party. The Maracas Pops were the hit of the day! So cool, so tangy, so refreshing - when friends and family recall the party, they always mention the "popsicles"! The recently introduced cucumber-lime is my new favorite flavor! Julia and her team were a dream to work with, and the Pop "cycle" cart added to the festive atmosphere.
I first tried Maracas at a weekly farmers market on Georgetown's campus and they reminded me of the paletas I loved growing up in Mexico. The range of flavors means there is always a new flavor to try. Good luck picking a favorite, they are all delicious! It always makes my day to see the Maracas Pops cart at events around the District.
